My new car has a picture of a wrench on the information display. What do I do?
The wrench is part of the Honda Maintenance-Minder system. Late-model Honda vehicles have a computer that monitors your driving habits to determine when maintenance is required.

When the Maintenance-Minder system determines that maintenance is needed, the yellow wrench will illuminate. Along with the wrench a letter, and in some cases, a number will also show in the information display. The photo to the right is an example that shows this vehicle needs an "A" and a "1" service performed.

This system has an early warning that will cause the wrench to flash when your vehicle is getting close to needing maintenance. This is a good time to see your Honda dealerto schedule an appointment. After several more miles, when the computer determines that the maintenance is needed, the wrench will stay illuminated continuously.
