2023 Honda Civic Type R 4dr Hatchback 2.0L Turbo Engine.

Honda is known for its reliable vehicles, and the Civic is one of the most durable cars on the market. The Honda Civic Trim Lineup has several different trims. Each trim offers a different balance of comfort, performance, and affordability. The 2023 Honda Civic lineup returns this year with some changes, including the addition of the Type R trim to replace the LX trim.

Sport

The 2023 Honda Civic Sport starts at $24,650. It comes standard with a CVT transmission, but you can also change it to a manual transmission for free if you opt for the hatchback model. The White Honda Civic Sport comes with a 2.0L four-cylinder engine that’s capable of 158 horsepower and 138 pound-foot of torque. It includes a long list of features such as Honda Sensing, Bluetooth, automatic climate control, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, a multi-angle rearview camera with guidelines, an eight-speaker sound system, and keyless entry. In addition, the Sport sedan has a folding rear seat, but the hatchback model gives you 60/40-split-folding seats.

EX and EX-L

The EX is basically an upgrade from the Sport. The 2023 Honda Civic EX is equipped with a 180-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a CVT, plus it offers more in the way of features. The EX-L is the hatchback version.

The smaller additions to the EX make it a much better choice when compared to the Sport. The exterior adds a one-touch power moonroof and heated outside mirrors. The inside includes dual-zone climate control, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, a rear-center armrest, and heated front seats. For safety, there’s blindspot monitoring to assist you on the road. Get this starting at $26,050.

Touring and Sport Touring

With its myriad of features ranging from comfort to safety, the Honda Civic Touring is perfect for anyone wanting to take their driving experience up a notch–without breaking the bank. It starts at only $29,650! The Touring has the same inner workings as the EX models. Upgrades to the exterior of the Touring model include 18-inch wheels, LED foglights headlights with auto on-off functionality, side mirror turn indicators, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The interior also receives a number of significant upgrades.

One of the features is a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster. The 9-inch display infotainment system includes a Honda satellite-linked navigation system with voice recognition and Honda HD digital traffic. Additionally, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless device charging, HD radio, satellite radio, and additional USB ports. Its speaker system is a 12-speaker stereo. The sedan version comes with leather seats as standard, while the Sport Touring hatchback model starts at $30,650. You’ll also get additional safety features like rear cross-traffic alert and front and rear parking sensors.

Honda Civic Si

The White Honda Civic Si is the perfect combination of performance and style. It starts at $28,100 and comes equipped with a 200-horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a six-speed manual transmission. This trim also adds two-tone cloth upholstery, front seats with larger side bolsters, and a limited-slip differential. You also get wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for easy connectivity. This trim is a great choice if you’re looking for a sportier model that still offers the same reliability and safety features as the regular Civic sedan.

Type R

The Type R returns this year with a much more powerful 315-horsepower engine. It’s a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, to be exact. The Type R is said to start at around $43,990. The trim offers most of the Si features and plenty more where that came from. High-performance Brembo brakes, 19-inch wheels, an oil cooler, adaptive suspension, a center exhaust with three outlets, a rear wing, and a data logging system are just some of the extras included.

This trim comes with two-tone synthetic suede upholstery, sport front seats, a two-person rear seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster, navigation, and wireless device charging.
